Hi All,
Thanks for coming back for another instalment of our blog. We thought this week we could chat about our weekly short social publication 2 minute Tuesdays and why you can find new knowledge and information from them.
Have you ever had questions or wanted to learn the basics of how to use different types of cables or how to use a USB soundcard with a computer and all things audio? These short tutorials are for you. We are now onto our 8th week and have lots more of them to share with everyone. It has been lots of fun starting these, and even in the short space of time we have been running them, tweaking the format to maximise how engaging and concise we can make the information so that the presentation of all the facts and tips is interesting and straightforward. We take a sense of pride in knowing that we could give you support in getting your home recording for demos, etc to be the best they can be, as the starting point of any good song coming together is being able to put the ideas down and hearing them back, but it can take the fun and creative flow out of this process if you do not know where to start with how to use your recording equipment. Also, using the gear in the incorrect way could cause damage to the equipment. This is the exact reason we are giving straightforward guided examples of how to do the basics.
There is already a selection of different shorts on our socials and YouTube channel explaining the difference between dynamic and condenser microphones, how to record acoustic guitar, best placement for microphones, as well as much more. We are so grateful for every like, comment and view and already feel the community environment that was the aspiration in achieving by doing these.
Do you have anything you would like to learn about? Drop us a comment below, and we will do what we can to bring these to you soon!
Have a good one,
Mike
